Whooping Cough Vaccination

If you are pregnant please contact the Surgery to ask if you are eligible for the whooping cough vaccination. 

Patient Online Access

Patient Access

Patient access allows patients limited access to the surgery computer system to:

  • Book/cancel appointments on-line
  • Order repeat prescriptions
  • Advise of change of address or telephone number (including mobile numbers)
  • View a summary of your medical records

Before you can begin to use Patient Access, you will need to register and create an account. Please speak to our receptionists who will give you a patient access registration letter containing a pin number to enable you to register to use the service.  After registering, you log on with your patient number and a password.

Verification of identity

To receive your Patient access registration letter you will need to provide 2 forms of identification. You will need to provide either your driving licence, passport and a utility bill i.e. bank statement etc.  Please speak to reception if this is a problem. Only patients aged 16 years or above may have access to view their medical records.

Appointments

You will be able to view appointments you have already made, cancel them if necessary, and book an appointment with a doctor after checking the times available. Appointments for baby checks, diabetic checks, minor surgery or medicals can not be booked on line as they are only done at certain times and require longer appointments. Due to the nature of nurse appointments we are unable to offer them online at present.

Repeat Prescriptions

You can order repeat prescriptions. Only repeat prescriptions are shown on your medication screen. You may add a message requesting an item you have previously been prescribed which not a repeat is. All items requested will usually be issued and show on your screen as accepted, but this does not necessarily mean they are ready for collection, as it takes up to 2 days to process after accepting the request. You will be contacted if there are any problems. Please ensure we have a current phone number listed for you.

Change of details

Change of address (within our catchment area) and change of phone number (including mobile numbers) can be made.

Medical record

You will be able to view a summary view of your medical record.  At present this includes your medication, allergies, immunisations and problems.  Should you wish to view your consultations and results, you will need to apply by completing a request form and again providing up to date identity verification. As with current requests to view Medical records this would be put to your doctor and may take up to 21 days.  This service is only available to patients aged 16 years and above.
